As part of our science topic: Plants and Animals, we set up an investigation to see what effect pollution has on our local environment. We buried an apple core, a plastic bag, a piece of styrofoam and a lettuce leaf and in 1 months time we will dig up what remains of the items to see which ones, if any, are biodegradable.

In RE we learn about all religions.  This half term, we learn about the Hindu religion, their culture and how special events are celebrated in which we have designed and made our own diva lamps. 

In Design Technology, we make Onion bhajis, a traditional Indian dish, which links to our topic, Amazing Asia.

We use secondary sources of information to find a list of ingredients we would need and we research how the product should be stored once it has been cooked. We always enjoy making these and we share our writing about how to make them so that others can enjoy making them too!
